Conciliation
Within this procedure ABC Asian Legal Service Co., Ltd. will help to arrange all matters between the parties, to settle disputes and to avoid long–term court proceedings.
For the purpose of conciliation, when the court deems appropriate or on request of a party, the court may order the conciliation. It may be conducted behind closed doors in the presence of all or any of the parties with or without an attorney to attempt compromise between them. Under a recent amendment to the Civil Procedure Code, conciliation is compulsory in small claims disputes. The court may appoint a sole conciliator or a panel of conciliators to assist the court with the conciliation. Conciliation is conducted in a conference room, not in the court room. Procedure is informal and non-public, confidential information of the parties is not revealed. If both parties agree, they can set up the settlement agreement.
